Stupid.
Wednesday, September 10th, 2008I’m going to post this e-mail I got today while out on sick leave. Kim and Beck must have been talking about politics and must have brought up that I’m an Obama supporter, because here’s what I got from someone…
“are you gonna vote for the American war hero or the Muslim? “
If you think this way, you’re an idiot and I hope you never vote for anything. This isn’t because it’s pro Obama… look if you like McCain because you believe in what he stands for I completely respect you. I poke fun at the man but at the end of the day he’s done some great things for our country politically and simply astonishing things in his military service. But if you’re voting for him because you think Obama is a Muslim then you might as well vote for McCain because he’s white and you hate Black people.
Obama is not a Muslim… which is not the point at all. What if he were a Muslim? News Flash to every idiot out there, and there seems to be a lot of you: MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS. They are peaceful people just like Chrisitans. Another news flash to the same idiots and beyond: religion does not define you as a politicians or a person for that matter. Believe whatever you want to believe, but a good person is a good person… someone’s belief in Jesus may grant them salvation, but it doesn’t make them a good person or a good politician.
Please, I’m asking you all to do this for not me but for your own good: vote for who ever you want to vote for. I don’t care if McCain wins if that’s really what people want… but vote for him or Obama because you know what they stand for and agree with it. If you need help with this, go to this website:
I go to this site because it is non-biased and fact based. This isn’t some liberal jargon I’m feeding you all, it’s a God honest factual site that makes it a lot easier to know who your voting for… not only for president, but both vice presidents and all Branches up for election are listed and broken down here. It’s a great freaking site. Please give it 15 minutes of your time and educate yoiurselves for the love of God.
I’ll make it even easier.. here’s Obama’s history and stances:

And now here is McCain’s positions:
http://ontheissues.org/John_McCain.htm
This is me on my knees begging you all to not be idiots and vote blindly like you’ve been for the last decade (and way beyond). I have based my support on Obama on where he stands in comparison to what I believe we need to do as a country. I do not see eye to eye with him on every front… after all I’m economically conservative… that might give some of you a heart attack because most of you think I’m a leftist liberal hippy. Not true. But on social issues, national defense, the war on terror, I do agree with Obama. With McCain, I only agree on some of his domestic spending agendas, and a little with his social stances, but not at all with the war and national defense. It has nothing to do with him being old or Republican… let’s not forget if I could have it my way, Ron Paul would be President… (Click here to see where he stands)
Oh, and I’m tired of people saying I’ll grow out of my political beliefs and eventually always vote republican. That’s not narrow minded and idiotic decision making at all (sarcasm).
PS: I responded to the person who wrote that e-mail to me twice. Both times I received this: Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists
You send me an e-mail and you don’t allow for a response… I rest my case.
One last bit of business. I want to apologize to all Vietnam veterans. When you boys came home, people who claimed to be liberals pissed right in your face. They embarrassed this nation with their behavior. God bless you and all ex-military personal for Vetetans Outreach Programs to help soldiers of today. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service, and am sorry people treated you in the way they did. I am only 26… I wasn’t there, but I haven’t forgotten you. That being said, I know we are in an unpopular war. Soon these boys will be coming home. If you hate the war, which I am included in that group, remember that the men and women in our armed services are doing what they are told to do. They are not to blaim for this war, they are doing their duty. Regardless of your position you need to respect them and recognize them as heroes… because they are.
