Have you ever seen the movie High Fidelity? It’s probably one of my favorite films of all time, and not just because Jack Black is friggin’ hilarious in it. In my opinion it is the ultimate emotional guy movie. One of my favorite things about the movie is how they make top 5 lists for everything. That being said, I wanted to give you my top 5 movies from the 1990’s. Now I know High Fidelity is not a 90’s movie, but that decade had so many good ones that I couldn’t help but ponder the question… so here are my top 5 movies from the 1990’s…

If you haven’t had a chance to see the movie “Burn After Reading” I recommend that you do. It’s full of VERY dark humor, which I usually like, but this movie does something that I’ve never experienced before. I actually was bored and generally disliked the film up until the conclusion. The movie, as the Coen brothers say, is about what happens when you mix idiots from the CIA with idiots who work in a gym. The film is so ridiculous that you spend much of it trying to figure out if there is a point to it. Trust me when I say you really won’t get the point until the very last scene of the movie. Once I saw the whole film, I went from not being amused to laughing hysterically at all the things I originally didn’t laugh at. The ending somehow makes the movie funny, after the fact. It’s a very strange experience that I think you should look into, if you really like movies anyway. Here’s a preview, but WARNING: ADULT LANGUAGE.
